Terms of Service

Last updated: July 2026

1. Using Traduck

Traduck provides text translation across 36 languages, on the website and via API, powered by a self-hosted AI translation model. You may use the free tier without an account, subject to a daily usage limit, or create an account for a monthly quota. By using Traduck you agree to these terms.

2. Accounts

You're responsible for keeping your password and API keys confidential. Notify us immediately if you believe your account or an API key has been compromised — you can revoke any key instantly from Account → API Keys. You must be able to form a binding contract to create an account (i.e. not be a minor in your jurisdiction without guardian consent).

3. Plans, billing & cancellation

Paid plans (Pro, Business) are billed monthly in advance via Stripe and renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel anytime from Account → Billing — you keep full access until the end of the period you've already paid for, then your account reverts to the Free plan. We don't offer prorated refunds for partial months. Current prices and quotas are listed on pricing and may change; changes apply to future billing cycles, not ones already paid.

4. Acceptable use

Don't use Traduck to: violate any law; abuse, scrape, or attempt to circumvent rate limits or quotas; submit content that infringes someone else's rights; or attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the service or the underlying translation infrastructure. We may suspend accounts that violate these terms.

5. API usage

API access shares the same monthly quota as your website usage. Each API key is tied to your account; don't share keys publicly (e.g. in client-side code or public repositories) — we're not responsible for usage run up on a leaked key, though we'll help you revoke it. See the API docs for full technical terms of use.

6. Content & translations

You retain all rights to text you submit for translation. Machine translation, including Traduck's, can make mistakes — don't rely on it for legal, medical, or safety-critical text without human review. We don't claim ownership of your input or output text.

7. Availability

We aim for high uptime but don't guarantee uninterrupted service. Scheduled maintenance or upstream issues with the translation engine may cause temporary downtime.

8. Termination

You may delete your account at any time by contacting us. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, with notice where practical.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the service evolves. Material changes will be reflected by an updated "last updated" date above.
