Translation without the middleman
Traduck runs its own translation engine, on its own infrastructure. Your text never leaves our servers to reach a third-party API.
Our mission
Most "free" translation tools online are a thin wrapper around a paid third-party API — every request you type is sent to, logged by, and billed through a company you've never heard of. We built Traduck to be different: a translation service where the engine, the servers, and the data path are all ours, so we can tell you exactly what happens to your text, because we're the ones running the whole pipeline.
Language shouldn't be a barrier, and translating a sentence shouldn't require trusting an anonymous third party with it. That's the whole premise of Traduck.
The technology: self-hosted AI
Traduck's translations are powered by an open-source machine translation model, specifically chosen and tuned to handle low-resource languages well — not just the handful that big commercial APIs optimize for. We run this model ourselves, on our own server, behind our own API. There is no call out to Google Translate, DeepL, or any other commercial translation provider anywhere in the request path.
This has two direct consequences: translations are only as good as the open model we run (we don't claim to beat every commercial competitor on every language pair), and your text stays inside infrastructure we control from the moment you hit "Translate" to the moment the result comes back.
36 languages, honestly counted
Traduck currently supports translation across 36 languages — English, French, Spanish, German, Italian, Portuguese, Dutch, Russian, Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Arabic, Hindi, Turkish, Polish, Czech, Swedish, Danish, Norwegian, Finnish, Hebrew, Thai, Vietnamese, Ukrainian, Bulgarian, Romanian, Hungarian, Greek, Slovak, Slovenian, Croatian, Estonian, Latvian, Lithuanian, and Indonesian, plus automatic source-language detection. That's the real, current list — see the full set of codes on the API docs page.
Privacy, by architecture
We log enough to run the product responsibly — usage counts per account for billing and abuse prevention, and aggregate stats — but we do not sell translated text, and we do not use your submissions to train third-party models. Full detail in our Privacy Policy.
Free to start, honest pricing to grow
Anyone can translate on the website without an account, within a daily limit. Creating a free account raises that to a real monthly quota with no credit card required, and the same quota is shared with the API — so you can build on Traduck without guessing which numbers apply where. See exact quotas on pricing.
